Thank you for your kind words about the nurses at PIH. We have been celebrating Nurses Week by honoring the exceptional nurses @ PIH and reading your assessment of the care they provided to your Dad is a great way to end a wonderful week. Nurses can be so focused on the care of the patients, that they may forget the families are also watching every detail to ensure that their loved ones are safe and comfortable. I am so proud of our staff and am always grateful when someone takes the time to acknowledge their hard work and the profession. Thank you again and best wishes for your Dad’s continued recovery.

@Diane: Please print this and take it to work, I’d love to thank as many nurses as I can, as we talked about when together a few weeks together, nurses make ALL of the difference.

How fitting that you should post this during Nurses Week. Hats off to my fellow nurses who work hard to care for patients and their families. Nursing is such a diverse profession-you can bedside nurse,clinic, ER, OR … so many to list. I love going to work every day. Each day is different and never boring.
